Consent Orders = Financial Divorce

If you’re separating, you need Consent Orders

Everyone who separates MUST have a financial separation agreement. In Australia, the legal term for a separation agreement is "Application for Consent Orders".

With Consent Orders you don't have to go to or appear in court, but your Application does need to be lodged & registered with the Family Court. The process is essentially an administrative procedure.

Consent Orders are the right & safe way to document & formalise your agreement about the division of your property and/or arrangements for your children after separation.
